Chris joined the practice in March 2011. As a Director for Origin3 Urban Design he combines a wide range of practical experience with design-led skills, as well as extensive community participation skills.
Chris has produced and coordinated regeneration and large scale mixed-use masterplans and regularly undertakes feasibility studies and development briefs, production and implementation of Design Codes both for private sector clients and Local Authorities. Chris has led both stakeholder and public consultation events and workshops for both regeneration and greenfield development proposals. Further, Chris has experience in producing written evidence for Public Inquiry. Chris is actively engaged in mentoring at Cardiff University within the urban design faculty.
His design approach is centred on discovering unique design solutions that are thoughtful and engaging and deliver imaginative and practical schemes.
